We are announcing beautiful news that a legendary musician, singer and songwriter of medicine music from Alto Paraiso, Brazil KATY INTI LAMADRID is visiting Europe to share her sacred music and prayers to us this summer.
For over 20 years Katy is singing and playing along with guitar and drum in ayahuasca medicine prayers circles. She is a ceremonial musician of sacred south American music, taking us on the journey of spiritual worlds of Brazilian diversity.
Conducting her own music and music from all world, she is the author of many already famous songs like Borroro, many known by the remix of famous cacao ceremonies music producer DJ Mose.
Born in Argentina she moved 20 years ago to Alto Paraiso, Brazil, where she continued creating her musical path inspired by various Brazilian traditions like Ubandaime, Santo Daime, and other Brazilian medicine therapy musicians. Her speciality is Afro Brazilian music!
Artist of healing music Katy Lamadrid is enchanting seekers of light. The sacred music is flowing through her voice, the spirit can not only be heard but also felt in her presence.
During this time Katy was also a member of the medicine music band Mantric Mambo excelling as a drummer and composed songs like Borroro, Aruanda, Que Negro Esse, and others. Her path also deeply crossed lineages of Brazilian indigenous people. Katy's music recalls beautiful forces of love into space and time where she plays.
Katy is Brazil corporated in herself... filling the space with ancient rhythms, strong festive voice and deep prayers. Hearing her playing not only humans start to swing, she is inviting enchanted beings where material and spiritual takes a beautiful form of of dance and melodies, feeling the knowledge channeling through her presence. Praising the nature and ancestors, her voice cures and gets us in touch with our ancient being who wants to be finally healed with joy and celebration !
