Which Airport should I fly to? 



You need to fly to Rio Branco which is the capital of Acre, and from this city we’ll organize a private bus with the participants of the festival to go to the city near the village Tarauacá, which are located 410km from the capital of Acre to the Northwest.
What dates I should arrive in Rio Branco the capital of Acre and return?
You need to check the flights to arrive in Rio Branco (Capital of Acre), and we request to all the participants to arrive no later than Friday the 9th of November, or 1,2 days before that date, to acclimatize with the new time zone, and slowing enter in the time of the forest, and to pass the jet-lag phase.

We'll be meeting on Saturday the 10th November in Rio Branco for a lunch with all the participants, and after the lunch we’ll have a meeting with all the participants for us of the organization to receive the lasts payments, inscriptions forms, copy of the documents etc, and then we’ll leave by bus everyone together on Sunday the 11th November to Tarauacá city (the nearest city of the village), and leave Tarauacá to the village by boat on Tuesday the 13th November, with the estimative on arriving in the village on Friday 16th November by the afternoon time, approximately 4 days by boat to reach the village from the city, depending the level of the river.

And returning from the village on Thursday the 29th of November early morning, with the estimative on arriving back in Tarauacá on 1st December, 2018 so check the flights to return home ideally after the 3rd December from Rio Branco, then you have some 1,2 days in between to rest, reestablish and get on the road again. 



The minimum time you need available for make your journey to the festival and return is about 25 days.

And please NOTE there’s no option to stay less or more than the planned schedule 12 days in the village, due the hard logistics for it and agreement with the indigenous land for the visitation. 



What is the total price of the trip?

Festival: 4700 reals caa. 1070 euro
Plane ticket from Europe : app. 800 euro
Staying in Rio Branco and Tarauaca costs: caa. 300 euro
pocket money: 300 euro
Oraganisational costs to the group leader: 100 euro

all : max 2600 Euro

What sort of accommodation will be available in the village during the festival? 

Every participant will sleep inside the indigenous houses, using your own hammock and mosquito net.

How is the weather during the period of the festival?

During the period of the festival we expect the very beginning of the raining season in Amazon, but still with sunny days, so the temperatures is between, min 17-18 °C, max 33 degrees °C, and rains more often.

If I decide to come to the festival, do I need to take any vaccine?
Every participant to visit the indigenous land, with request by FUNAI (Brazilian Government Organization in Charge of the Indigenous) should take at least the Yellow Fever Vaccine, and bring a copy of vaccination card to be given to the organizers in the meeting day. 
Can I come in different dates or for fewer periods and have discount?

It’s no possible to arrive later than the estimated travel logistic with the participants, and there’s no option to stay less or more in the village, the agreement we have with the community is for the visitation during the exactly dates of the festival, and please don’t ask for discounts, thank you!

Can I arrive by myself in Tarauacá and get the boats?

PLEASE NOTE; if you are not able to make the travels according the estimated dates x meetings x group departure mentioned above, you cannot simply show up in Tarauacá and get into the boats, if you are not together with us since the meeting day in Rio Branco you’ll be excluded from the process of registration, and unable to register and get into the boats, so please make sure you come according the established travel plans.
